X’s Evolution: Unveiling Twitter’s Rebranding and Remarkable Auction

The popular social media platform Twitter has recently undergone an official rebranding and has now been rebranded as “X”.

In order to mark this significant change, the company’s owner, Elon Musk, has taken the initiative to arrange a massive garage sale with the aim of completely removing any remnants of the platform’s previous branding from the company’s headquarters.

Scheduled to commence promptly at 7:00 a.m. PST on September 12, the auction requires prospective buyers to schedule an appointment in advance so, if they wish to physically inspect the items.

While the available products primarily consist of office furniture items like desks, chairs, desktop monitors, and whiteboards. Additionally, there are some intriguing items up for grabs, such as the iconic bird logo displayed on the building and an oil painting by Debbie Fass depicting Ellen DeGeneres’ memorable selfie with fellow stars at the 2014 Oscars.

However, company overseeing the Twitter auction is Heritage Global Partners. A company specializing in comprehensive auction, liquidation, and asset advisory services. So, this firm is going to assist “X” or twitter in selling a total of 584 items. All of which are available at an initial bidding price of $25.

Among the items available for purchase are:
  1. A photo of Ellen DeGeneres’ famous 2014 Oscar selfie, capturing her with prominent figures including Meryl Streep, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Lupita Nyong’o, Julia Roberts, Jared Leto, Kevin Spacey, and Bradley Cooper.
  2. An oil painting by Debbie Fass depicting Barack Obama celebrating his re-election in 2012, titled “Four More Years.”
  3. A sign displaying the Twitter building logo, offering bidders a chance to own a piece of the platform’s history.
  4. A large birdcage designed in a creative manner that embodies the X or Twitter theme.
  5. A unique swinging sofa birdcage, echoing the bird-themed motif.
  6. Various bird-shaped memorabilia, showcasing different interpretations of the iconic logo.
  7. A repurposed wooden barn that has been transformed into a lodge-style meeting space, representing an interesting relic of Twitter’s past.

Furthermore, Elon Musk has generously offered to cover the legal expenses of employees. Only those who have faced unfair treatment in relation to their use of X or Twitter.

So, In an endeavor to leave behind its previous brand identity, “X” is orchestrating this auction of Twitter-themed collectibles. Moreover, signifying a deliberate step towards a new chapter.
